The monster encyclopedia "Monstroll," created by the unit of Masayoshi Hanawa (illustrations) and Shin Fujii (text), has had such a profound impact on the publishing industry that it sent shockwaves through the industry.
From the 175 monsters divided into 12 tribes included in the collection, three monsters—Darakusakum, Ototobubure, and Utsurome Apartment Building A—have been made into figures in two color variations each: monochrome, which reproduces the original monochrome design, and neon colors.

In order to reproduce the intricately depicted patterns from the original work, every detail was meticulously pursued.

Masayoshi Hanawa (illustrations)
Born in 1981 in Ibaraki Prefecture, he is a self-taught artist who began exhibiting his work on the streets of Tokyo around 2005 and has participated in numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally. His works are held in collections such as the Hermitage Museum Amsterdam's Outsider Art Museum and the Kyoichi Tsuzuki Collection Street Art Museum in Japan.

Shin Fujii (text)
Born in 1980 in Iwate Prefecture, he works as a caregiver while also being active in the experimental music unit "Gekikara Tsushin" with friends from his student days. The group will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 and has released two albums to date, with Hanawa handling the artwork.
