About David Choe:
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, David Choe has achieved recognition for his self-titled "dirty style" artwork that allows him to create a layered work of different mediums and different histories. After the success of Choe's cult-classic comic book Slow Jams, Choe spent many years creating commercial graphic illustrations and commissioned works. Since 2005, after his first New York solo show, Choe has continued to focus heavily on his fine art career without leaving his graffiti roots behind.
