This paper kit is a 2:1 paper model of the Mills Bomb - the classic hand grenade form. The weapon was developed at the beginning of the 20th century by the golf club maker William Mills and later committed to the British Army. Through its distinctive look - and pervasive exposure through mass media - the Mills Bomb has become an indelible symbol. Everyone knows how to pull the primer, grasp the grip and throw this grenade. Thankfully, this Mills Bomb remains just a piece of paper.
